KISS - Rock And Roll Over. Classic KISS, classic cover. I bought this brand new but over the years lost track of it. Found this copy, stickers and all, at the 2nd hand store.

Introducing...The Beatles!

I bought both of these records at a 2nd hand store. I don't remember what I paid but I'm sure it wasn't more than a couple bucks apiece. The link below gives some more information on this release.

Second Winter

Depending on the source, this is either his 2nd (logical) or 3rd album (Wikipedia). What makes it unusual is that it was released as a three-sided album with the forth side left blank; a smooth, shiny side of virgin vinyl. Also, it enlists as bass player, future Double Trouble bassist (Stevie Ray Vaughan) Tommy Shannon. If you like rockin', raunchy, Texas blues, you'll like this one.

AC/DC and BTO

My first AC/DC album, bought when it was first released in the US in 1976. Live Wire was the first song I heard and I was hooked. A classic!

Their first album, released in 1973.

My collection (most of it).

I have two of these shelves. The albums in the crates on the floor are now on the other shelf along with more albums. They take up the lower 2/3 of the shelf. I have videos on the top.

Who, what, where.

My first post! I'm new at this so give me a minute to adjust. I just want to give a little background on my experience in record collecting. As a kid I'd see my friends with older siblings that would have a few records and I was envious. Sure, my older brother had a few but they had more and different ones. I aspired to be like them. One day a few years back a friend/coworker brought to work an album that our company produced back in the 60's when companies produced TV movies and soundtracks. I was intrigued, to say the least. He told me he found it at the thrift store (2nd hand store). I had no idea what that was. I checked it out and found a whole new world of clothing and brick-a-brack hitherto unknown to my imagination. Oh, and records! Glorious records! Cheap prices! Since then I have amassed a collection of over 2,000 albums and uncounted 45's. Doesn't sound like much but I liquidated almost everything I had about 6 years ago when I moved. Those suckers are heavy! It's an addiction. I keep telling myself I don't need anymore then find myself back at the record stores and thrift shops searching. I bought a program for my computer that converts LP's and tapes to mp3 and I've been going hog wild. You can't buy this stuff as cheap online if you can even find it. So, I will post pictures and some background on my finds when I get free time to do so. And if you see something you want, hit me up. I know this isn't the forum to buy and sell but I'm sure we could work something out. Hope to hear from you soon.
